14 children and 1 teacher have been killed in the worst ever school shooting in Texas history. On May 24, 2022, Salvador Ramos (18) walked into Robb Elementary School in Uvalde and began shooting.
“He shot and killed, horrifically, incomprehensibly, 14 students, and killed a teacher,” Gov. Greg Abbott said. “He himself is deceased. It is believed that responding officers killed him.”
Salvador’s social media has been removed, but we took screenshots before it disappeared. He posted highlights of his guns on Instagram. He also tagged a woman in the highlight and she made some posts, showing message that Salvador sent her.
During a press conference following the shooting, it was announced that the death toll had grown to 18 children and 2 adults, as well as the shooter.
At 9pm, Texas time on May 24, another child was pronounced dead.
