20 month old Quinton Simon has been missing since the 5th October 2022. He was last seen at his home on Buckhalter Road, Savannah, Chatham County GA around 6 a.m. on Wednesday, by his mother’s boyfriend. He was reported missing to police that same morning at 9.40am when his mother, Leilani Smith, woke up. She said she last saw him in his playpen at home and the door was open when she awoke but her father called her a liar stating “She has lied to us so many times. And, I don’t know. It’s bad to say, but she just likes to lie.”
Quinton lived with his brother, his maternal grandparents, his mother and her boyfriend. The grandparents, Thomas and Billie Jo Howell, told the news station WJCL they are Quinton’s and his 3-year-old brother’s legal guardians.
Billie Jo was trying to get the couple evicted and charged with causing property damage.
Authorities have “conducted multiple interviews, executed multiple search warrants and we’ve canvassed numerous specific geographic areas,”
They have had contact with Quinton’s biological father and said he’s not a suspect.
“I am frustrated. I’m frustrated because we don’t know what happened to Quinton and think how many people love him. Think about how many people are affected by that, not only his close family, the neighbors, staff, anyone and everyone that cares about people, that cares about children, that he is safe, that we don’t know what happened to him. I am frustrated,”
“I keep saying it’s a missing persons case because that’s all we know for sure. We don’t have someone that’s deceased. We haven’t located a crime scene or even a deceased person that would indicate that something nefarious happened there. We just don’t have, you know, an actual person to locate and we’re hoping that, you know, there’s some reason where there’s someone that knows what happened to little Quinton and we can bring him home safely,” said Chief Hadley.

Speaking to local news station WSAV-TV, Diana McCarta, who said she had been babysitting Quinton and his brother for six months, said she had seen the boys as recently as the day before Quinton disappeared.
She was supposed to watch them that Wednesday morning but instead received an unusual text message, according to the report.
“I got a text this morning saying they would not be here, would not be babysitting them at 5:29 [a.m.],” McCarta told WSAV-TV. “Which was kind of odd because I have them even when she doesn’t work,” she said, reportedly referring to the children’s mother.
McCarta then received a text message from Quinton’s other relatives around 9 a.m., asking if she had seen Quinton, according to the report.
“I immediately go to their house. I try to help them look, they didn’t want that. So, I’ve been just waiting around like everyone else,” she went on. “My heart is broken. I’m not his mother. I’m not his family. But I love him very much And I just don’t know what could happen.”

The police have found evidence about the missing boy. The mother went out in the car that morning and came back about 9am. She did not ring 911. The Grandmother had custody of 2 of the kids but not the baby. The baby sitter has spoken out about what the family were like, her concerns about the mother and BF. The bruises on Quinton. Never sending any formula or diapers or anything with them for the kids. The mothers car has been taken away by LE and the house searched again. That poor boy is dead by the hands of the mother and BF i think.
They have found Jullissa who went missing in the early hours of the morning. She was last seen going to an AM/PM store in her car. She had been at a party earlier but had an argument and left. AWP did a search of the Avocado Lake but found nothing. The Sherrif who is running the case found tyre marks going off the road to a cliff, where her car and herself where found. It was not far from Avocado Lake.
