ORIGINAL STORY
When John Crane, a tow truck driver for Epolito’s Towing Company, was sent to retrieve an overdue Zipcar, he was met with a grisly sight.
“It was bad,” he said while at the scene.
In the vehicle, he found the bodies of an adult woman and three young children. They had no obvious signs of trauma or injury to their bodies.
He called 911 and police arrived, along with a Hazmat team.
Following their initial investigation, Syracuse Police Sgt. Matthew Malinowski said evidence ‘indicates that this was an intentional act by the adult to kill herself and the three children inside.’
This is a developing story and the identities of the deceased have not been released. We will update when more information is available.
