FOUND SAFE-Evelyn Vadie Sides (4) missing from Lee County, Alabama

Update- she has been found!

At 2:30 pm on March 25, 2020 Evelyn (Vadie) was last seen walking with her hound dog, Lucy, with an adult family friend.

Lucy is also missing. The dog is rumoured to be deaf and blind (maybe due to injury shown further down?).

While not near her home, she is said to have been familiar with the area.

The adult with her did not have a mobile phone, meaning 911 wasn’t called until she got to access to one 25 minutes later. Police were on the scene within 15 minutes of the call.

She was wearing a blue print dress with green flower patterns, is 3 foot tall, has green eyes and red hair.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) issued an Emergency Missing Child Alert that night. They have had helicopters, drones and heat detecting technology out searching for them in a wooded area near by.

Rumours about foot/paw prints being found seem to be false.

“Lee County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Andrew Peacock said Evelyn was under supervision and walking her dog when she “essentially just disappeared….at this point foul play is not suspected in Evelyn’s disappearance”
