Police responded to a call for a missing child on Monday, August 24, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas.
They arrived at the 2100 block of Hurley Avenue at 11.35am to investigate.
Krystal Lewandowski (34) had made a 911 call and she told the dispatcher that her 4-year-old daughter Czara was last seen in their backyard.
She also said during the 911 call that she was “advised to slit her daughter’s throat” Sunday night. She said she was told to harm her daughter or “something worse would happen to her daughter if Lewandowski didn’t slit her daughter’s throat,” according to the affidavit. She told police that she “saved” her daughter.
Police found Czara’s body in the trash can in Krystal’s back yard.
Czara was pronounced dead at 11:51 a.m.
